The Director of Kilmurray Kommunications, Lesley Kilmurray, has spent over 25 years working in the communications industry both in Ireland and abroad. During this time, Lesley’s primary area of expertise has been in the area of content development of communication materials. Her career started out in Ireland, gaining a couple of years experience in public relations and marketing from Carr Communications. Following the summer of 1997, when she provided media relations support to the Irish Government around the general election, Lesley moved to Brussels to work for the Information Unit at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Employment. She wrote and helped to produce the DG’s internal newsletter along with reports from Commission meetings and events for a year.

Lesley then took up a consulting role for APCO Europe, a leading global public affairs and strategic communications agency, where her main client was the Information Unit of the European Commission’s Directorate General for Enlargement. Over a six year period, Lesley produced a variety of written materials and online content about the impact of the accession of the countries from central and eastern Europe to the European Union. Other communication materials developed were those for the European Commission Delegation in Romania, the Greek Presidency of the EU, 3M and Nike.

Based in Dublin for the past 16 years, Lesley has been working for a number of institutional and corporate clients. Please visit the case studies section to view samples of work or hear from clients first-hand in commendations.
